There is a definite 80s/90s vibe in the house, and I'm not talking tease your hair... put down the Aqua Net. Listening to this remastered EP brought me back there. Singer, Matt Ulricksen's vibrato had me wondering when Axl Rose was going to jump in the chorus with him!

The 5 song EP is full of surprises. Just when you think you are jamming with the drums or the guitar... A surprise high note! Or what really got me was in “Til The Dawn”. In the first few seconds, I'm feeling the music -- quick guitar, I got this. Right? No. They slow it up! Something completely different! Upon your first listen, you think you know where it's going, but you really don't. The element of surprise takes you and keeps you guessing. While the lyrics beat on your most basic, raw emotions, the flows rock you up high too. Just what we all remember and love from our treasured favorites of the 80s and 90s.

In an excerpt from the band's own bio:  “Teeth were cut on such legendary bands as KISS, Iron Maiden, U.F.O., and Queensryche.” Stop. Go back, and read that again. You caught Queensryche – and the UNITED vocalist, Ulricksen, has caught you in that too. A heavy influence is heard from our beloved metal bands of that time in Ulricksen.

The surprise tones, change-ups and beats... I'm interested to see where they go on their full length album, to be released in 2017.
