I Am The Law

Dance of the Southern Witch

Release: May 31, 2019

Album Review by Allyson Kingsley, Music Journalist

Boston Rock Radio

I Am the Law are a 5 piece band from Nashville, Tennessee that dig their heels in blues soaked groove metal with a kick of Southern charm. I enjoy a band that gives no fucks and does what they want to do even in the face of the music industry machine.

Refusing to be cogs in the wheel, I Am the Law deliver two songs on this EP that are drenched in badass riffs with a bit of  a Zakk Wylde flair, thunderous energetic drum and bass rhythm and dual vocals that remind me of the Texas metal band Upon a Burning Body.

"Dance of the Southern Witch" is the crazy fuel you add to a huge bonfire, raging and out of control. "The Earth Will Eat Today" is slightly different but no less fucking bestial.

I Am the Law have had consecutive nominations for the Nashville Industry Music Awards.

Brandon Howard - Guitar/Vox

Tyler Quillen - Vocals

Brian Bradsher - guitar

Chris Lochbihler - Drums

Nicholas Lochbihler - Bass
