Don’t you just love it when an album excites you? Not just because it may be your favorite artist that released it, or it was a release you were anxious to arrive in your fingertips, or even just have such a release excite you simply because it was just that good?

This year, the electronic rock duo from London, She Made Me Do It, has gifted the music world with their latest EP, Drenched. You better believe it - it will have you drenched in excitement.

These four tracks start with the single and music video, “Bones.”  It is intense. It is stimulating. It is exhilarating. It is so explicitly, simply right. The song comes crashing in with incredible drum work and Will Crewdson’s guitar that immediately has the music “rushing through [your] bones.”

“Broken Morning” comes next in a beautiful flow of Crewdson’s guitar and Shaheena Dax’s vocals - a beautiful marriage of the two. This track presents a more calmer side to She Made Me Do it. But yet, it delivers a presence of warmth that embraces you, pulling you into the world of Dax and Crewdson. Between the warmth and the unbelievably catchy chorus, one will not be able to resist singing along.

Next, “Ashes” is brought to the ears of listeners with a soft, steady beat and rhythm that could have anyone say, “yes” to the dancefloor. The song is tasty as if one could feel and imagine themselves in a loud, bright, neon light filled club - pounding rock and roll injected with epic electronic beats.

Last, but not least, the final track, “Time,” and oh how one will wish there was more time, more music within this EP. “Time” is elegant with Dax’s beautiful melody and out of body vocals, a true song to experience with the volume up and to just let yourself simply be.

Drenched is a short EP, but do not let it fool you. She Made Me Do It has delivered an enormous four track package that will surely feel as if a whole lifetime is blooming inside it.
