Alive in Barcelona has captured listeners across the globe. Based out of Spokane, Washington, they have reached impressive heights with over 8000 followers on Instagram, 24,000 followers on Facebook, and an impressive 50,000 followers on Twitter.

To be released February 22, their self-titled debut album, Alive in Barcelona, is an emotional collection of songs that are like no other hard rock album you’ve ever heard. The amount of uplifting, yet dark emotion and articulate design that has been poured into the creation of this album is incredible.

Upon the heartbreaking loss of his father, vocalist Jesse Barton poured his emotions into his music. Experiencing the cold, hard realization that things would never be the same again, along with the support of bandmates, “House of Memories” was born. Not just a song, “House of Memories” is a powerful, raw emotional expression of sadness, loss and sudden change expressed through music.

To help raise awareness for those who are also suffering, Alive in Barcelona created the song “The Fight” along with #Hopeforhardship, focusing on depression, the grief of stress and anxiety, and the gravity of suicide. The emotional lyrics speak to those who are suffering, urging them to hold on, be strong and to know they are not alone, even when they feel it the most.

This album is not just a compilation of words and riffs, but rather a powerful message to those hurting and a glimpse into heartbroken souls and the journeys they have since taken to hold on and survive all of life’s trials.
