“Elise”

From Stockholm Sweden, Krehated release their music video for “Elise” and it is one that is haunting in its simplicity. Krehated are performing high up on a hill overlooking a valley on an ominously cloudy day. The vocals are malevolent and anger fueled. The scenes switch to an empty playground with the swings that sway unoccupied and a seesaw that bounces with no one, not a single soul present. In the song itself I hear anguish, resentment, a literal gut wrenching feeling of abandonment. Around the 2 and a half minute mark Johan roars in tune to the breakdown “You made me bleed,” terrifyingly raw emotion written in his body language and facial expression. And I say, it speaks to us all because most of us have felt this raw human emotion of being abandoned. Amazing capture of something you don't want to feel.

The video was directed by John Gyllhamn and the track was mixed and mastered by Christian Svedin.

The band recently inked a deal with Zombie Shark Records and released their feature full-length album ‘The Venomous Mind,” recorded at JV Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The album was mixed and mastered by Christian Svedin (The Unguided, Vildhjarta, Imminence).
