Sleep Waker

Song Review by Allyson Kingsley, Music Journalist

Boston Rock Radio

Check out the song “Hell” just released by Michigan-based dark hardcore metallers Sleep Waker. This song arrives in anticipation of their debut album Don't Look at the Moon to be released on August 17, 2018 via Stay Sick Recordings. The band members are Hunter Courtright (vocalist), Jason Candill (guitarist), Eric Overway (guitarist), Noah Boland (bassist/vocalist) and Frankie Mish (drummer/vocalist). I rate Sleep Waker on the pedestal this far with the likes of Knocked Loose or Sick of it All.

“Hell” is crushingly heavy with hefty and substantial riffs and breakdowns. Aggressive vocals smash your skull. This is definitely a  pit inducer. I will absolutely anticipate a full album review in the near future.
