Album review by Allyson Kingsley Music journalist with Boston Rock Radio

Inquisitor hail from the Netherlands and bring exquisite twisted, jagged extreme thrash/death metal to the table. Originally formed in 1991, after some lineup changes and haituses we now have this high octane riff extravaganza Stigmata Me, I'm in Misery. The vocal work of Alex Wesdijk is simply blistering and raw, ripping deep into your flesh. Check out “Hate, Misery, Torture & Decay,” which I imagine must make any venue crowd erupt into bedlam. “Norther Goliath-Death A Black Rose" has an interesting intro before shredding your nerve endings with an avalanche of speed brought on by guitarist Erik Spooten and bass guitarist Alex Bakker. This is the shot that will make your speakers crackle and sicken your sheepish neighbors. Top track to me was “Hammering Rusty Nails" with the sonic ballast drumming of Wim Van der Valk, primitive blistering vocal rawness and exceptional axe-wielding. Thrash will always have a home with me.
