The quarantine was nothing short of boring, wasn't it? To the extent where people would display their ridiculous "talents" on TikTok and various other social media, and strangely enough, we liked it. GWAR were also busy during the quarantine with their own CBD line “Bud of Gods" and now a new EP which is a limited edition 12" picture disc with unplugged versions of four GWAR classics.

As frontman Blothar the Berserker explains, "During the quarantine of 2020 I spent long, lonely days with my hand down my pants, hiding out in a fortress made entirely of rolls of toilet paper, drinking hand sanitizer and watching ‘1000-Lb Sisters’... which is business as usual for me. So I was relieved when I got the call to lay down some vocals on The Disc With No Name. We recorded this record over the telephone, which was fine with me, because I can’t stand to be in the same room as the other members of GWAR."

One can't imagine having a song like "Fuck This Place" or "Gonna Kill You" actually sound like a folk tune or dareI even say, romantic in a world where the demented run wild but this is what GWAR does in their boredom. A decent little album to listen to for kicks and of course, if you are a fan of metal unplugged and acoustic. Dig in and enjoy and please record yourselves in your dirty bedrooms trying to recreate this unplugged EP. We're all bored dammit.
