Outra crítica de álbum nos leva ao sul do equador para o Brasil, então vamos aproveitar a viagem! Yep, we’re headed south of the equator to beautiful São Paulo Brazil for a (mostly) new album by Ego Kill Talent. (Any performer can tell you that no truer words have ever been summed up so well.) So why, you may be asking, are parentheses flanking the word “mostly”? Glad you asked…

Fans of Ego Kill Talent are aware of the band’s previous two releases in 2020, The Dance and The Dance Between. Here comes the promised final piece of the puzzle, The Dance Between Extremes, coming out March 19th. As far as I can tell, the first half of this new release was well received by fans and peers alike. Now, everyone can complete the collection with five new songs that slide right in without missing a step. Rock fans in general who may be new to Ego Kill Talent won’t feel left out. The Dance Between Extremes gets everyone caught up in one easy breezy shot. It is an audio feast any rocker can wholeheartedly digest. Forceful jams stand out, featuring buttery-smooth vocals that glide over pulsating guitar riffs and throbbing beats. It’s no wonder they have managed to tap into a seemingly endless well of creativity and diversity. All band members have the capability and talent to switch instruments to best fit the mood/pace of each track. That right there is the epitome of job security. Expand your musical repertoire, and there’s always a guaranteed spot for you at the table. Ego Kill Talent has set up quite the audio buffet table, filled with all sorts of delicious Rock flavors. This is one extreme dance that doesn’t involve any overly-complicated moves in order to enjoy it. In fact, the effortless way each song maintains its character reflects the skill and synergy invested by each musician. Nothing is awkwardly forced together that the listener has to endure. There is an organic culmination of Hard Rock designed to remind us why we fell in love with this format in the first place.

Rekindle your romance with Rock music when The Dance Between Extremes is unleashed on March 19th, the day before Spring officially starts…allegedly, depending on what wacky fun Mother Nature has in store. Weather may not be entirely reliable, but you can count on Ego Kill Talent.
