It’s safe to say that the fear has been brought unto us lately, but there is nothing to fear here...unless you’re terrified by a musical virtuoso who has boundless energy, advanced talent, and unyielding determination. Frank Palangi’s latest EP, Bring On The Fear, is the spine-tingles that rockers gladly welcome.

His fourth studio release decimates any floodgates of restraint, starting with the aptly-titled brief instrumental track, “The Intro.”  All we have to do is surf the audio tsunami that Palangi summoned. Take a deep breath. There is no letting up during the first four tracks. Wave after wave of thundering drums and slicing riffs crash on gritty shores; his vocals are the lifesaver that keeps you from being battered around like waterlogged driftwood. It’s only on the last track “Virginia” when we are delivered to calmer waters lapping at our ears. This one takes a little bit of a break, wrapping up Bring On The Fear’s 15-minute runtime with the perfect example of the Bluesy-Rock ballad resurrection.

It’s amazing what one musician can accomplish with sheer determination and the talent to back it up. Palangi unabashedly offers up proof to any skeptic with this new EP, if there were any doubters to begin with. Slip on your water wings and dive right in to Bring On The Fear; it’s been available since June 5th. And don’t forget your towel.
